Platte Express: How It Works

platte express busThe Platte Express is a deviated fixed route bus route that travels in Fort Morgan and Log Lane Village and stops at convenient areas in both locations.  Deviations from the route are available up to 3/4 miles from regular stops. 

Buses run Monday through Friday starting in Log Lane at 6:30 a.m. Look for the Platte Express signs at the designated locations (which you can view on the Routes and Schedules page).

All buses are ADA Accessible and are equipped with wheelchair lifts. Route deviations to accommodate riders with disabilities can be made by calling (970) 867-6494.

Passenger Signs

If you would like to be picked up anywhere along the route, signs with Platte Express on them are available. Call the Platte Express office (970) 867-6494 to get one, or find out what locations in town have them available for you. Just show your sign and the bus will stop for you

Riding the Platte Express is easy, just follow these simple steps:

  • Select your route. The map shows the route. Locate where you want to go and see if the route will take you there.
  • Check the time schedule.
  • Wait at the designated bus stop. The bus stops are clearly marked.
  • Board the bus after other passengers have exited. If you have difficulty boarding, ask the bus driver for assistance.
  • Pay your fare when you board. Drop the correct fare in the fare box or show your bus pass/ticket. DRIVERS DO NOT CARRY CHANGE!
  • Signal to exit the bus. Please advise the driver of your destination. Please remain seated until the bus comes to a complete stop
